Kingwood Rotarians are proud to have donated another $2,000 to support Trees for Kingwood to help sponsor their "Trees for Students Program" in Humble ISD.

Our members understand that the whole world is their backyard. "Protecting the Environment" is one of Rotary's 7-Areas of Focus so we are proud to support activities that strengthen the conservation and protection of natural resources.

This program partners with local schools to teach Humble ISD students about the importance of trees in our environment. As part of the program, the students receive a small tree they can plant in their community or at one of the partner organization sites.

This is the second donation from Rotary Club of Kingwood in support of this initiative.  With our first $2,000 donation, Trees For Kingwood planted 35 trees along Woodland Hills Drive with help from local Kingwood organizations.   Click here to learn more about this environmental project.
